OUR PHILOSOPHY

We are a licensed preschool with various classes to accommodate children from ages 3 to 5 years old.   We offer a wide variety of play experiences set in an atmosphere of trust and acceptance. Our rooms are comfortably home-like and well equipped. Our staff members are Early Childhood Educators who strive to provide opportunities for all aspects of growth:

SUPPORTING YOUR CHILDS LEARNING

 To support your child's learning we will:

• Model positive information
• Step in to support children in resolving conflict
• Ask questions to encourage critical thinking and problem solving
• Set appropriate boundaries and expectations
• Allow children to make mistakes
• Give the children appropriate choices
• Support children in taking risks (emotionally, socially, cognitively and physically)
• Observe the children at play, which will help us create an environment where they feel safe, supported, and challenged. A place where they WANT to be!

Every child is at a different stage of development and “each stage is complete within itself” (Josef Chilton Pearce). We introduce a variety of concepts through play, rhymes, songs, stories and activities to support every child's development.
